Labra. Between sea and mountains
Around 80 hectares of our own vineyards in the Ochamchira district. Between the Black Sea and the Caucasus, every Labra wine begins here.
Where our wines begin
Labra lies on a plain four kilometres from the Black Sea. Beyond the vineyards, the Caucasus mountains rise on the horizon.
The nearby sea, humid air and long, warm summers shape the conditions in which we grow our grapes.

From soil to vine
The first vines were planted here in 2014. Before planting, soil samples were sent to Italy to help select varieties for the different plots.
The young vines came from Italian nurseries. Buds open in spring, and by late summer the rows carry ripening bunches.

The varieties we grow
Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Marselan, Malbec and Isabella form the basis of our six wines: four Labra Locus reds and two Labra Rosé wines.
In 2025 we also planted Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc. These young vines are still becoming established.

Beside the vineyard
We make wine from our own grapes. The harvested bunches go to the winery at the edge of the rows.
Italian equipment supports the work in the cellar. Tank temperatures are controlled, and every batch is checked by the laboratory.
